Rialyn, who was referred to us in 2005 by Daughters of Mary sister probably has one of the saddest stories among our kids. The child doesn't know her date and place of birth, surname (Buenaobra was given to her after her referral to our center), her parents or anything else about herself. We even doubt that Rialyn is her real name.

In approximately 4 years-old age the girl was just left behind in one of the stores of Tabaco City, Albay province. Her mother never returned to the store and store keeper didn't know what to do with the girl and brought her to the Daughters of Mary sisters, who later referred her to our center.

According to Rialyn they came to Tabaco by boat from one of the islands of around southern Luson. She also mentioned that probably her mother now somewhere in Manila where she escaped from a cruel husband.

Rialyn stays with us for more than 4 years already. She is now studying at school as a grade 2 pupil but has no birth certificate or any other personal identity and documents.
